His nose wrinkled. His attitude can be a little… irritating at times. But he loves him nonetheless. He’s just looking out for him. If anything were to happen to him; he would feel an enormous guilt. For he would have failed to protect his young grandson. Holly would be disappointed in him.
“This is some serious shit, Jotaro. Don’t take my words lightly. You need more than a band-aid. You need to get that shit STITCHED!” He stood, leaving the younger male seated. He would then reach for the mobile phone to call the foundation.
“Tch,” Jotaro scowls, reaching into his pocket to take out a cigarette with his uninjured hand. He sticks it in his mouth and lights it up, taking a few puffs before he decides to respond. He sounds irritated, of course, because this dense old man just won’t fucking listen! He’s said he’s fine, so that should be it.
“We only have 2 weeks to get to Cairo. Something like this would be a waste of time if we just wait around here,” he mutters, his glare locked on the floor. It remains unsaid, but what he means is obvious—he doesn’t care about the damage he sustains because what’s more important to him is finding and defeating Dio to save his mother before it’s too late.
“It doesn’t even hurt, jiji. I can have Star Platinum stitch it if you really think it’s that bad.”
“Its like watching a psyhological thriler movie ! Takes some time before all the wonderful bloodshed starts ~” she spoke with wide slightly sadistic grin.
“Yare yare… Statements like that really make me start to wonder if agreeing to work with you was a good idea,” Jotaro makes a slight grimace, brows raised. “What exactly do you do for a living? Or is that classified information?”
“Yare yare… I think you’re being a little over-dramatic here, old man,” Jotaro huffs, tilting his hat lower to cover his eyes. He doesn’t look as Joseph speaks to him, finding anything but the older man’s words more worthy of his attention. This is all stuff he used to hear from his mother when he’d come home from school with bloodied fists and the occasional bruise. He really didn’t have time for this. Besides, it wasn’t like Joseph sat there and gave these lectures to Polnareff or Kakyoin or Avdol. It was always something he felt the need to get on Jotaro’s case about while the others attended to different duties.
“Slap a band-aid on it. I’ll be fine. The enemy just caught me off guard is all. I wasn’t being reckless.”

Jotaro lifts his hand to take her tiny one in his, but just as he extends his index finger Shizuka’s suddenly disappears. He’s startled at first, but then comes to recall that she does that sometimes. He remembers Joseph saying she starts turning invisible due to negative feelings. Perhaps she’s hungry? Or just learned to control it, but he doubts that… She’s still a nearly a baby, after all.
“Do you need milk? Or…” Jotaro’s face slowly morphs into one of slight mortification upon realization that she might not be hungry but need a new diaper. Ugh, why did the old man leave him to babysit? He hated changing diapers… “Did you shit yourself?”
Regardless, he takes a hold of Shizuka’s bottle from earlier, handing it over to her in the hopes that she just needs to be fed again.
Jotaro doesn’t personally know this girl all that well, but she was helping them. She was innocent in all of this, had no idea what she was even helping them with when Jotaro questioned her a few days prior.
